Sleepless nights make no choices – they haunt every new mum and dad, whether they are the Royals or the royal subjects! That’s why, as soon as we found out that the Duchess of Cambridge was expecting her second child, we started planning on sending one of our Bears to Kensington Palace. We hoped that, as parents of two under two, Catherine and her husband Prince William would appreciate a little help for when their new baby gets restless and upset. We were thrilled to learn that on May 2nd, the Royal family grew when Kate became a mum again, by giving birth to a healthy and beautiful baby Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. As soon as the news broke, we neatly wrapped the parcel and sent it to London. Upon opening the box, the recipients would have found the personalised Whisbear for Baby Charlotte and a very personal letter for her mum. Now we can only hope that one day we will find out if Whisbear filled Charlotte’s nursery with soothing sounds and helped her and her family to sleep better.
Sisters Zuzanna Sielicka-Kalczynska, 34, and Julia Sielicka-Jastrzebska, 32, from the Polish capital of Warsaw, sent the Duchess and Princess a specially-designed Royal bear complete with its own bag, with a gold crown sewn onto it.
